    We have received some delightful news today by mail, Mary has been granted her permanent residence visa we are so chuffed we are smiling all the time, we are over the moon! such good news we applied in late Dec 2012 granted 08/04/2013 so it didnt take too long

    It was always going to happen Geoff...unless Mary donned a balaclava and robbed a bank.(And got caught!) LOL. In saying that, you do have to show that you and Mary are still in a genuine relationship and for you, and Mary, that wasn't a problem. So well done in getting that worry out of the way. Let's just thank our lucky stars we don't have to go through the rigmarole that our UK friends do to gain the same result.

    Thank you all for the congratulations, its a big weight off us now.We look forward to visiting Nanning in late Sept this year I will be there for 3 months Mary is staying over with her family for a further 3 months I will miss her, but I know how long she has not seen her Granddaughter and her family for the past two years
